Description	A small Fraktur birth record (Geburtschein) for Lydi Ann Eby. The text is done in black and purple and it reads: "Lydi Ann Eby Born April 25th 1856." It is surrounded in a border which resembles a frame. The background of the drawing is filled with short, black horizontal lines.
Provenance	Lydia Ann Eby was the granddaughter of Benjamin Eby. Her parents were Isaac Eby and Veronica Shoemaker (daughter of John and Mary (Shantz)), who were married on October 31, 1831. Lydia's parents farmed for nearly 43 years on land two and a half miles east of Berlin. She had nine siblings: Menno, Mary, Isaac, Daniel, Christian, Theodore, Barnabas, Ezra E, and Benjamin. (see 995.023.003.001). Lydia was the youngest child, she never married, and died November 11, 1875.
