Christian Snyder's Home
Early: 1895 - Late: 1895
A photograph taken in 1895 of Christian Schneider's home near Doon, Waterloo County, built in 1807. Photographic print in a dark grey matte. The sepia-toned photograph shows a side/front view of a large, two-storey, log house with double verandah, pent eaves along gable ends, and two large brick chimneys. Slab board fence on left of picture. The side of the house and the fence enclose what appears to be a vegetable garden. There is a wooden bridge in the backgoround. There is a handwritten inscription along the bottom of the card.
