Curatorial Comments	The style of this wedding shirt follows a traditional Mennonnite form but is totally devoid of decoration as are earlier documented wedding shirts. It was not until the last quarter of the nineteenth century that some Victorian needlework arts began to emerge from the Mennonite community. [taken from p. 84 of From Pennsylvania to Waterloo]
